Housing Demand Increases in Izmir: New Projects on the Way!

The real estate market in Izmir remains active. Especially in the regions of Çiğli, Bornova, Karşıyaka, and Menemen, new residential projects are being launched one after another to meet the rising demand. Both investors and homebuyers are showing great interest in the city.

Despite rising rent prices and land costs, a decline in property sales is not expected. Experts state that with its advantages in transportation, education, and quality of life, Izmir continues to be one of Turkey's most preferred cities.

In the new projects, modern architecture, energy efficiency, and social facilities are prioritized. Young families and white-collar workers, in particular, are opting for apartments with smart home systems. In the Menemen district, especially with advancements in industry and agriculture, the interest in the area is increasing.

According to the President of the Izmir Real Estate Agents Chamber, a new wave of revival in the housing market is expected by 2025. The planned transportation investments in the northern part of the city further support this expectation.
